You receive a cross-platform .mp4 file delivered via cloud download link or on a new USB stick. Your tapes never leave Albany — no risk of loss or damage in the post.
Applied to already-digitised footage — whether captured by me or footage you already have. Priced per tape (up to ~2hrs). Longer or complex jobs quoted individually.

A note on AI upscaling: VHS is a 4:3 format (PAL 576i), while HD and 4K are
16:9. Upscaling involves an aspect ratio decision — pillarboxing (black bars on the sides), cropping, or other
treatment. We'll agree on the approach before starting.
These enhancements can be combined with digitisation as a single end-to-end job.

Results depend heavily on the source — a tiny, badly damaged original has limits no amount of skill can fully overcome.
